If you have used computers in your life, you’ve probably heard the term “interweb” at least once in your life. But where does it come from, and what does it mean? Interweb is a combination of internet and web and is usually used in a joking or sarcastic tone, generally from someone who’s tech savvy to someone who’s not. It is mostly used in conjunction with “teh”, a purposely misspelt “the”. The term is nowhere new, as most of you probably guessed. Supposedly it comes from the series Babylon 5, Season 1, Episode 16 (1994), but there have been reports that it was being used before then. So, the original origin has not been confirmed.
